After 12 Nights Been Missing…

We did everything we could.

Night 2. Posted up her posters.

Searching from one floor level to another. From block to block. We searched and called her name 2-3 times a day. 1-2 hours per session.

Mr Am paid some kids to help him search for Memon.

Jebat was not feeling well since she left.

He missed her sister 😦

10 nights after she had been missing, we received 2 calls, telling us they saw Memon at the 1st floor of Block A. So we keep looking her there. But we couldn’t find her. In the midnite, we received a call telling us that they saw Memon climbed into a locked empty house. I’ve waiting in front of the house for a few hours, calling her name, but no respond. So i sprinkled the Blackwood kibbles along the way, up to my apartment at the 8th floor of Block B on day 10. She must be very skinny. She doesn’t eat other than kibbles. So what did she eat when she was missing?

Night 11. I went back to the house at 12 midnite and saw a female cat climbed out from the house. To my surprise, the female cat looks like Memon, except she has a long tail and has a white patch on her face. Again, i sprinkled the kibbles, and hope she will finds a way home.

Night 12 – 10 April 2011. I gave up. We stopped looking for her as we thought Memon will not survive out there.

It was 1.30 midnite. I was doing my felt craft’s template when i heard a grill opened, then i heard a loud cat cries. Memon! I woke Mr Am up. He ran upstairs. I quickly grabbed my cat carrier and ran downstairs to find her. I found at the staircase, 2 levels below. A couple who live downstairs saw me running and told me they found her in their 2nd room and put her outside. How she managed to get into their apartment, we don’t know.

They’re 2 possibilities.

1) She escaped and got lost, then looking for her way back but accidentally entered a wrong house. The couple’s apartment is just downstairs, under my apartment unit.

2) She felt from the pantry and flung into the couple’s house. But is it possible she can hid herself 12 days in the house without being notice by the couple? Without eat and drink? But to think about it again, i sounds possible. When she was missing, Mr Am and I could heard she cried, but we couldn’t find where it came. And she doesn’t look as skinny as we thought!

She lost 1.5kg. But still looks good 🙂

We don’t know. The only think we know, she is return home safely 😀

She must be very relieved 🙂
